Paris is a cold and grey!

My girlfriend Andrea arrived on Friday amidst the strikes. We are spending a fun filled week in Paris before we venture off to explore all that Benelux has to offer us. Spent yesterday shopping around St Germain and today around the Montmartre boutiques.

Spent Saturday avoiding sun showers. Taken from the Jardins de Tuileries.

The Sunday Morning "Bird Market"

Last sunday I took the subway up to St Michel and wandered around the bird market which turned out to be just an outdoor pet store full of wandering tourists.

These outdoor stands line La Seine on sunny days.

Oct 12 Nation Wide Strike in France

The protests in Paris circled my apartment this afternoon. I could hear the chants through my window.
They are fighting to prevent pension reform.
